AmericanFortress, the Wyoming company behind FortressNames and the SafeSend privacy layer, is publishing a research paper that lets a cross-chain bridge check that the wallet receiving funds is controlled by the same secret as the wallet that sent them, without learning that secret or publicly tying the two wallets together. The paper, by Vincenzo Botta, Michal Pospieszalski, Emanuele Ragnoli and Justus Ranvier, extends the company's ZKPoSP zero-knowledge system across Bitcoin's secp256k1 and Solana's Ed25519 key schemes. A bridge can refuse a payout to any substituted destination that cannot produce the proof. The same construction lets a recipient prove who sent a payment, lets an exchange recognise repeat deposits from a vetted wallet and lets a wallet rotate keys without losing the trust it built. Benchmarks put a single proof at 3 to 7 seconds to build and under half a second to check.
