Marvel's Wolverine Review 30 Hours Later
Description
My Marvel’s Wolverine Review is finally here, and after finishing the story twice, reaching max level, unlocking every technique, adaptation, suit and pair of claws, and completing every Nightmare Door, I have a lot to say about Insomniac’s latest. In my PS5 Wolverine review, I break down the brutal combat, story, boss fights, Wolverine suits and claws, collectibles, Nightmare Doors, PS5 Pro performance, characters, easter eggs and everything else I experienced after more than 30 hours with the game.Wolverine’s combat looks incredible and absolutely delivers on the brutality and ferocity you would expect from Logan, but underneath all that violence I found a combat system that never develops the depth I was hoping for. The story also starts strong with Team X, Jean Grey, Sabretooth, Mystique and plenty of X-Men connections, but some of the choices made with these characters didn’t work for me by the time the credits rolled. There is still a lot here for Wolverine and Marvel fans to enjoy, especially the fan service, unlockable costumes, claws, easter eggs and incredibly satisfying combat. But does Marvel’s Wolverine live up to Insomniac’s Spider-Man games, and is it one of the best superhero games ever made?
