Enough said

We use “Enough said” when someone has already given us all the information we need.

There’s no need to explain further.

What they’ve said is enough to convince us, explain something, or make the situation obvious.

Example:

Imagine someone asks you:

“Why did you leave the party so early?”

You say:

“I had to be at the airport at five the next morning.”

They reply:

“Enough said.”

In other words:

“You don’t need to explain anymore. I completely understand.”
