Good evening guys! So today, I went back into the Honkai Impact mini game like I normally do every day, just trying to continue my grind and get that free Mythic weapon as quickly as possible. At this point, the grind has become part of my daily routine, so I already knew exactly what I was going to do when I entered the mini game. But this time, something immediately felt different. As soon as I entered, another storyline started playing automatically. The moment I noticed that, I knew something new had been added to the mini game. I honestly got excited because I wanted to see what had changed and what kind of challenge was waiting for me this time. I decided to go through the storyline instead of skipping it because I wanted to understand what was happening. From what I could understand, the story was basically about the monsters becoming an even bigger threat. They were talking about how these creatures could follow them wherever they went, even going as far as following them into the sky. Apparently, there was no way to escape them anymore. The only solution was to eliminate every last one of them and then defeat their bosses one after another.
Now, the statement about having to "kill every last one of them" didn't really scare me at first because, honestly, I've been doing exactly that every day since I started grinding this mini game. Fighting and eliminating these monsters isn't anything new to me. But the fact that the game specifically highlighted that statement in the storyline made me feel like there was more to it. It sounded like the developers were trying to warn us that things were about to get much more serious. After getting through the storyline, I went straight into the action. And almost immediately, I noticed the biggest difference the monsters were no longer the same ones I had been fighting before.
These new monsters looked much more intimidating, and they weren't just stronger-looking; they were also coming at me in much larger numbers. They started attacking in bulk, giving me almost no breathing space. Before I could properly deal with one group, another group was already coming toward me. At some point, I realized that I couldn't just stand in one position and keep shooting like I normally would. I had to start paying attention to how quickly I was eliminating them compared to how quickly they were spawning. Whenever I noticed that my shots were taking them down faster than they could reach me, I would stay and fight. But once the number of enemies started becoming too much, I would immediately move away and try to take the fight from another position.
And then, of course, my phone decided to add another challenge of its own. 😂 The lag became noticeably worse because of how many enemies were appearing on the screen at once. There were moments where everything became so chaotic that I had to fight through the lag while trying to keep track of the enemies around me. But one thing I wasn't ready to do was quit. I've already invested too much time into this grind, and I'm determined to get that free Mythic weapon. So even with the increased difficulty and my phone struggling to keep up, I kept shooting and pushing forward.
Thankfully, I managed to make it through the first stage. I was already expecting the next stage to be harder, and I wasn't wrong. I somehow managed to survive the second stage as well, which gave me a little confidence that I might actually be able to complete the whole thing. Unfortunately, my luck ran out when I reached the third stage. I couldn't make it through this one. The difficulty kept increasing, and at this point, I'm not even completely sure whether the third stage was the final stage or if there were still more stages waiting for me. From the way the difficulty was progressing, I hon
