Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents “The Valentine Matter Part 4,” originally broadcast on CBS Radio on November 3, 1955. This is episode 254, the fourth installment in a five-part serial starring Bob Bailey as insurance investigator Johnny Dollar.

Still in New Orleans, Dollar’s concern for former bootlegger Dan Valentine has deepened into a homicide investigation. Working with Inspector Charles de Baca, he follows increasingly personal leads through Valentine’s guarded history and family connections. Written by John Dawson, a pseudonym of E. Jack Neuman, and directed by Jack Johnstone.

Yours Truly Johnny Dollar presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
