The Terrible Podcast – Steelers-Patriots All-22 Recap, Batch On Porter Jr. Situation, McCarthy O-Line Comments & More
Description
September 23, 2026 -
Season 17, Episode 26 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the several practice squad transactions that the Pittsburgh Steelers have made this week. We also go over a few of the injured players we will have close eyes on this week when it comes to the team's three forthcoming injury reports for Week 3.
Former Steelers QB Charlie Batch weighed in on the ongoing situation with CB Joey Porter Jr. doing a Wednesday morning interview, so we make sure to recap and examine his comments on that subject.
While HC Mike McCarthy and the team's three coordinators didn't say too much during their respective press conferences, Alex and I go over the most notable quotes from those. We discuss McCarthy's comments he made since the Week 2 loss concerning how he feels he managed the offensive line reps dating back to training camp.
Now that we have both fully digested the all-22 tape from the Steelers Week 2 road loss to the New England Patriots, Alex and I go over the good, bad and ugly from the offense, defense and special teams that we observed.
This 62-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap above and we end this show by answering several emails we received from listeners.
