The current biggest story in the UK media is Piers Morgan threatening legal action against Earl Spencer over false allegations he made about him in his new book about his sister, the late Princess Diana.

And, although Spencer has since issued a statement apologizing and admitting he hadn’t checked his facts properly, Piers has instructed his lawyers to still get in touch.

Earl Spencer will make a lot of money from this book, which is why Piers is demanding a payment to Charles’ charity The  King’s Trust.

He’s already being judged in the court of public opinion -  and depending on what he does next, a court of law may have to determine the rest.
