Episode Details

In a world filled with competing ideas about success, meaning, identity, and what we should do with our lives, it’s easy to feel like you’re moving without actually knowing where you’re going.

In this episode, Ian sits down with Larry O’Nan to explore a more fundamental question: What is your life actually for?

Larry shares how his own search for meaning led him from theater and identity confusion into a life shaped by faith, stewardship, intentionality, and service. The conversation explores what it means to see yourself as a steward rather than an owner, why purpose begins with admitting when you’re lost, how the “law of the harvest” applies to life and entrepreneurship, and why intentional living requires more than good ideas.

They also unpack Larry’s five principles of becoming an “authorized wealth distributor,” the importance of learning to give, ask, wait, and manage what has been entrusted to you, and why abundance is about far more than money.

If you’ve ever felt like something is missing, like you’re drifting, or like you’re trying to build a meaningful life without a clear map, this conversation offers a different way to think about purpose, responsibility, faith, and the choices that shape a life.
