In Vermont’s Bennington Triangle, it’s not unusual to have strange encounters with the paranormal: from strange lights in the sky to mysterious shadow entities on the ground, this area has a rich history of indigenous folklore involving man-eating rocks and cursed land full of evil monsters. This week, we take a look at the mysterious missing persons cases of Middie Rivers (1945), Paula Welden (1946), James Tedford (1949), Paul Jepson (1950), and Frieda Langer (1950). How did these 5 people vanish in a 5 year period and what happened to them? Was it just an unlucky coincidence? Or is some sinister force lurking in the shadows of Glastenbury Mountain’s Long Trail?
