Driver allegedly six times over limit after Northern Beaches crash
Published 2 weeks, 3 days ago
Description
A 31-year-old driver was arrested on the Northern Beaches after allegedly recording a blood alcohol reading of 0.28, nearly six times the legal limit, following a crash into parked cars on Oatway Parade in North Manly. The man repeatedly denied driving despite being pulled from the driver's seat of his Mazda 3, with police finding a wad of cash in his pocket and an empty whiskey bottle in the passenger seat. His licence was suspended and he will face court at a later date.
