Earl Spencer apologises over Piers Morgan book error
Published 2 weeks, 3 days ago
Description
Earl Spencer has issued an apology to broadcaster Piers Morgan after wrongly claiming in his new memoir about Princess Diana that Morgan was the Daily Mirror editor when the paper published covert gym photos of Diana in 1993. Morgan, who didn't join the Mirror until 1995, is now taking legal action and demanding the book be pulped. The memoir also contains claims that King Charles body-shamed Diana after their engagement and told friends he was not in love with her before their wedding.
