In today's fully reported episode, we are diving deep into Universal's new behemoth of a ride— my official review, my advice for when you visit, and what makes this coaster special — while also expanding upon the debate you may have seen online of nearby homeowners' extensive noise complaints.
Because...on Tuesday, I had so much fun riding Universal Studios Hollywood's new Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift coaster that I just kept going on, likely giving myself a mild concussion.
On Wednesday, I drove to a stranger's house to interview a half-dozen nearby residents about how the coaster — namely its passengers' screams — has significantly impacted their lives.
Consider this a 360 degree view (like the rotating vehicles!) of Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift and how one coaster can be so game-changing for this park, so mind-blowing for guests...and so infuriating for locals.
