Episode Details

Feel like you're failing at homemaking because your home isn't perfect? You're not — and this conversation will show you why.

I'm joined by Marci Farrell of Thankful Homemaker, author of Homemaking Matters: Living for God's Glory in the Ordinary, to talk about  christian homemaking as ministry, not performance. If you've been stuck measuring yourself by productivity, clutter-free counters, or Instagram-perfect rooms, Marci offers a better why behind the what: loving and serving the people God has entrusted to you, right where you are.

In this episode we cover:

Why biblical homemaking is ministry to your family and neighbors, not separate from your Christian life
The heart shift from productivity and appearance to posture of the heart
How your home sanctifies you — revealing impatience, control, and discontent so you can grow in Christ
Why love for people must come before perfect order (crumbs, fingerprints, and all)
God's grace for the imperfect  61 christian homemaker  — you don't have to get it all right to bring Him glory
Everyday tasks like meals, laundry, and welcoming people into a lived-in home are meaningful service.

Let this encourage you to stop managing and start ministering.

What part of homemaking sanctifies YOU the most right now? Tell me in the comments — I read every one.
