Ep. 319: Psychic Medium Alysa Conger on Her Dad's Suicide, Past Lives & Predicting Charlie Kirk
Description
Zach sits down with psychic medium and mentor Alysa Conger — a working model of nearly 17 years who also teaches people how to access their own intuition. They dig into what it actually looks like to build a mediumship practice, how Alysa's own psychic path was catalyzed by her father's suicide in 2022 (three days before her birthday), and the eerie "signs" she picked up in the days before it happened.
Alysa opens up about surviving a serious car accident that same year — including a brief out-of-body experience and a traumatic brain injury she believes sharpened her intuitive abilities — and shares her theory that our souls operate on a kind of "choose your own adventure" contract between fate and free will. She and Zach also swap past-life regression stories (including two oddly similar accounts of living on a different, non-Earth planet), and Alysa offers a compassionate take on the overlap between psychic phenomena and schizophrenia.
The conversation moves into the business side of mediumship — the scammers giving the field a bad name, the disturbing DMs and emails she receives (including one that led her to contact the FBI), and how her client base has shifted from grief-driven bookings to corporate professionals seeking meaning. Alysa also shares some of her boldest calls, including a video posted weeks before the Charlie Kirk shooting, and discusses a shared "communications blackout" feeling she and other intuitives have been picking up lately.
