The Armor of God Is Not for Attacking. It's for Holding Ground | Spiritual Warfare EP 2

Description
Six pieces of armor, five of them defensive, one verb repeated four times, and no marching order anywhere in the passage. Ephesians 6 is not the battle charge it gets preached as. This episode walks the passage in Paul's own order. The enemy first, because he names the enemy before he names the equipment: rulers, authorities, cosmic powers, spiritual forces of evil, all of it administrative vocabulary borrowed from the same structure Psalm 82 indicts. Then Ephesus itself, a city with a magical literature expensive enough that burning it cost fifty thousand pieces of silver, and the seven sons of Sceva who tried to use the name of Jesus as a technique and got hurt for it. Then the armor, and the detail that reframes the whole passage: every significant piece appears first in Isaiah, worn by God himself. And then the seventh item nobody counts, attached to the sixth by a single Greek participle that most English Bibles bury under a section heading. Includes an honest correction of the rhema and logos teaching you have probably heard.
