Monday — The Numbers Keep Leading Back to Eight | Astrology Ride of the Day
Description
Mercury finally breaks free from its opposition with Saturn, catching a supporting sextile from Jupiter in Leo that says closed mouths don't get fed — ask for what you want. The detrimental Moon in Capricorn trines the Virgo Sun on her way out of the sign, then squares Chiron at the shared critical degree before crossing into Aquarius, where she conjuncts retrograde Pluto and sextiles retrograde Neptune, both sitting at 3 degrees. By evening she trines retrograde Uranus while squaring Venus in detriment in Scorpio, pulling between freedom and attachment. Track the numerology through the day and it keeps landing on the same number: 17 reduces to 8, and 5 plus 3 makes 8 again — the number of protection and justice, showing up whether the day opens with misfortune or closes with pleasure and tension. Know thyself. Balance your energy.
Takeaways
- Mercury sextile Jupiter in Leo offers real support after the weekend's hard opposition with Saturn — the message is to actually ask for what you need instead of staying quiet.
- The Moon trines the Virgo Sun early (earth to earth, easy flow) before squaring Chiron at the shared 29th degree, then crosses into Aquarius where she conjuncts retrograde Pluto and sextiles retrograde Neptune, both at 3 degrees — asking whether you have faith in a destiny you can't yet see.
- By evening, the Moon trines retrograde Uranus while simultaneously squaring Venus in detriment in Scorpio, pulling directly between freedom and attachment, detachment and desire.
- The day's numerology keeps circling back to 8 (protection and justice): 17 reduces to 8, and 5 plus 3 equals 8 again — suggesting the day's real question is what's being protected, what's changing, and what needs to be made right.
