Back to Episodes#582- Gregory Scott Cummins Returns, Verbal Thomas Shenanigans, and Family Dollar Birth Control
Description
On this episode of Verbal Shenanigans, we sit down again with veteran actor Gregory Scott Cummins, best known as the intimidating, unblinking, and legendary Luther McDonald—Mac’s ex-con dad on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Beyond Paddy’s Pub, Gregory boasts a decorated 30-plus-year Hollywood career with over 100 credits, including his standout turn as Detective Robert "Crate" Moore on Bosch, iconic roles in 80s and 90s action classics, and appearances in major blockbusters like Batman Returns. We pull back the curtain on how he crafted Luther’s cold-eyed glare, what it's really like working alongside Rob Mac and the Sunny crew, and the art of playing Hollywood's most unforgettable hardasses and character roles.
Scott ruins a job application, Mike picks up a unique item while DoorDashing, and we wonder why people care what Ed Sheeran thinks. Another great episode!
