Ed Sheeran performed his first concert since Macklemore was dropped from his opening act for his “Free Palestine” statements two weekends ago. The remainder of Sheeran’s openers all left the tour in solidarity with Macklemore, and so Sheeran stood on the stage at Lincoln Financial in Philly and tearfully told fans he was “so, so sorry.” We play his three minute apology and explanation for what happened and share our thoughts on seeing and hearing Sheeran read his prepared statements, carefully trying to NOT piss anyone else off in the process.
