Are you more psychic than you think?

Perhaps you’ve had a feeling about somebody that you couldn’t explain. You’ve walked into a room and immediately sensed something was off. You’ve known you should — or shouldn’t — do something, ignored it… and later thought, I knew it.

For years, I simply called that my gut feeling.

In this episode, the wonderful Chrystal Rose returns to Soul Sync as we explore psychic awareness, intuition and what can happen when we stop putting pressure on ourselves to get everything right and simply begin to experiment.

Both classes are hosted by me alongside trance medium Donna King, with teaching, practical exercises, breakout work, experimentation and plenty of room to ask questions, get things wrong and surprise yourself.

In this conversation with Chrystal

We explore why psychic awareness is such an important foundation for mediumship; the difference between psychic and mediumistic information; using tarot, oracle cards, colours, numbers, wax, bones, flowers and everyday objects as ways of exploring your awareness; why tools can build confidence without becoming a crutch; and what happened when I arrived at a psychic fair having completely forgotten my tarot cards.

We also talk about the clairs, trusting subtle impressions, what to do when somebody tells you “no”, practising with people you don’t know, perfectionism in development, and why sometimes the problem isn’t the information we receive — it’s the way we interpret it.

There’s also an unexpected and rather lovely moment involving my dad, some discussion about money and spiritual work, plenty of laughter, and Chrystal leaves us with a beautifully simple message:

Listen to your intuition.

Because perhaps developing psychically isn’t about becoming something you aren’t.

Perhaps it’s about beginning to recognise something that has been there all along.
