Missouri's lieutenant governor supports UM System President Dr. Mun Choi's call for an increased emphasis on public safety in downtown Columbia. President Choi is calling on Columbia city leaders to take action on downtown safety, rather than forming task forces. Lt. Governor Dave Wasinger joined "Wake Up Missouri" hosts Jennifer Bukowsky and Brian Carl, saying his son graduated from Mizzou and would hear gunshots at 2 or 3 am when he lived in downtown Columbia.
