    Slam The Gavel welcomes Author, Marta Bryceland to the podcast. Today she discusses her upcoming book, "Invisible Prisons," and her experience of surviving 60 days on Rikers Island. Marta was wrongfully detained at Rikers Island after a family court dispute turned into a criminal case. However, there is a pattern the reader may recognize somewhere in their own life, and how they themselves are in an invisible prison. Not only did we exchange our own prison experiences, Marta gave insight on how to survive the journey leading up to going into prison and surviving on the inside of Rikers Island.
