A Reflection For When The World Has Broken Down 

Sometimes it feels like our leaders have betrayed us and even our family and friends are unreliable.

Micah 7 describes such a world and the pain of living in it before pivoting to say that even in these dark periods God is still our light.

Even while we are living with the consequences of our actions, God “delights in showing steadfast love” (חֶסֶד, ḥesed).

Iniquity doesn’t have the last word. God’s love and compassion (רָחַם, rāḥam) do.
