We continue to move forward with our retrospective as we look at the most celebrated, adored and beloved movie Woody Allen has made so far, even after all these years ..AND IRONICALLY it looks like we tackled this discussion on it's 40th YEAR ANNIVERSARY!  :)

 

Annie Hall is a 1977 American romantic comedy about Alvy Singer, a neurotic comedian who falls in love with Annie Hall, a quirky and independent woman. The film explores the ups and downs in their relationship and is a celebrated favourite in the genre to say the least

The film stars Woody Allen and Diane Keaton and won four Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

 

Also starring: Tony Roberts as Rob, Carol Kane as Allison Portchnik, Paul Simon as Tony Lacey, Janet Margolin as Robin, Shelley Duvall as Pam and Christopher Walken as Duane Hall to name but a few
