Robin Hood and his Merry Men
Published 1 month, 1 week ago
Description
This educational storybook recounts the classic legends of Robin Hood, starting with his infant years in Sherwood Forest and the eventual capture of his father by the Sheriff’s men. After his own wedding is violently interrupted, Robin becomes an outlaw leader, gathering a band of Merry Men—including iconic figures like Little John and Friar Tuck—to resist the tyranny of Prince John. The narrative follows several daring escapades, such as Robin winning an archery tournament in disguise and executing a clever ambush to reclaim stolen gold from the Sheriff. High-stakes encounters culminate in the death of the Sheriff and a surprise meeting with King Richard the Lionheart, who briefly restores Robin’s noble status. However, the tale concludes with a sense of lingering danger, as Robin is forced to flee back to the wilderness to escape the ongoing treachery of his enemies.
