Trump bans major news outlets from White House
Published 2 weeks, 3 days ago
Description
President Donald Trump has banned reporters from CNN, MSN and Politico from White House grounds after accusing these outlets of reporting fake news. The move has sparked concerns about press freedom and constitutional rights, with journalists describing it as autocratic behaviour that threatens democracy's watchdog role. Similar incidents of media exclusion have also occurred in Australia, with One Nation blocking certain outlets from press conferences in Victoria.
