Today: a park full of geysers has swallowed 280 hats this year, along with 36 pairs of sunglasses, 17 pacifiers and six teeth straighteners, and a team of rock scientists went fishing with long grabby poles to get it all back out. Then a family in America where five people in a row, boy girl boy girl boy, were all born on the fourteenth of September, and a great grandma who asked for a baby boy on that exact day and got one. And scientists in a flooded Brazilian rainforest found a brand new frog that looks identical to its neighbours, so they worked out it was new by listening to its slow, lazy song. Plus a caller from Vietnam whose breakfast noodle soup smells so good that forty neighbours turn up at her table every single morning, and one of them now brings his own chair.
