Sometimes we hit patches so difficult that it feels like God must be angry with us.
Like we’ve been “besieged and enveloped with bitterness and tribulation.”

But just before we give in and give up, we are reminded:
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,
God’s mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is God’s faithfulness.”
— from Lamentations 3:22–23
Therefore, we still have hope.
