Introduction
In this message, we continue our series on Jesus as our Shepherd and us as His sheep. Last week we looked at how the Shepherd desires to feed us; this week we focus on how He desires to water us. Water is even more essential than food, and Jesus, our Good Shepherd, leads us beside peaceful streams and offers living water that truly satisfies.

Scripture

  • Psalm 23:1-6
  • John 7:37-39
  • Revelation 7:15-17
  • John 4:10-16
  • Isaiah 55:1

Sermon Points

  1. We are all Thirsty!
  2. We cannot satisfy our own thirst!
  3. We must go to him for drink!

Closing
It’s all free and it doesn’t cost a thing. God knows how thirsty you are and He has the amazing ability to give you springs of life within your heart to quench your thirst. He has a feast for you in the presence of your enemies and wants to lead you to a place, spiritually speaking, flowing with milk and honey. Do you trust Him enough to come to Him and surrender?
