Flu cases surge across Australia with late peak
Published 2 weeks, 5 days ago
Description
Australia has experienced a massive spike in flu cases with more than 31,000 people diagnosed with influenza in the past fortnight, over half of them in New South Wales. The peak of flu season has arrived later than usual, with low vaccination rates leaving a large susceptible population. The World Health Organisation warns cases are expected to rise further over the school holidays.
