Published 2 weeks, 3 days ago
Description
Europe keyboardist Mic Michaeli joins Metal Mayhem ROC as the band celebrates 40 years of The Final Countdown and releases its new album, Come This Madness. Michaeli talks about how Europe has evolved from its ’80s roots into the heavier, guitar-driven band it is today.
Metal Walt also digs into appearances by Ghost’s Tobias Forge and Opeth’s Mikael Åkerfeldt, the story behind “Carrie,” and what happened when Europe considered playing a show without “The Final Countdown.” Plus, could Europe finally be headed back to North America?
