You lost me 

When you say “You lost me,” you’re telling someone:

“I was following what you were saying, but at some point, I stopped understanding.”

Example:

Imagine your friend is explaining the rules of a new board game.

They start:

“Okay, first everyone gets five cards.”

Easy enough.

“Then you choose one card and pass two to the person on your left, unless someone has already used a blue card, in which case you switch directions…”

You stop them.

“Wait, wait. You lost me after the blue card.”
