This week United Nations Secretary General said nations must coordinate global efforts to regulate AI, echoing calls for closer monitoring of the technology after warnings from leaders of the world’s top firms. The comments come days before world leaders descend on New York for the UNGA’s annual high-level week. Speaking with host Romaine Bostick, UN General Assembly president Khalilur Rahman says that the UN must unlock its doors to the AI industry.
