We now have three more powerful billionaire NFL owners being named in the growing Robert Kraft, Ed Sheeran and Macklemore controversy.

According to new reporting, Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper, Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank and Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie backed New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s position against Macklemore remaining on Ed Sheeran’s tour.

And the timing could not be more interesting.

Ed Sheeran’s next stop is this Saturday in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field, home of Jeffrey Lurie’s Philadelphia Eagles. 

So what happens in Philadelphia? What will the reaction inside and outside the stadium look like? And what happens when NFL games kick off Sunday now that the names of additional owners involved in this controversy have been reported?

In today’s video, we’re breaking down David Tepper, Arthur Blank and Jeffrey Lurie’s reported involvement and examining the growing backlash surrounding Ed Sheeran’s tour.

And there’s another major development.

Classic Hits Radio in Ireland has announced that it is removing Ed Sheeran’s music from its playlist “for the foreseeable future” following listener reaction to the Macklemore controversy and the decision by several artists to leave Sheeran’s tour.

I’ve said in previous videos that I believe this controversy could have serious consequences for Ed Sheeran’s career. Now I’m asking whether this Irish radio station could be the beginning of a larger domino effect and whether other stations could eventually follow.

And for everyone arguing that Ed Sheeran simply doesn’t involve himself in politics or use his platform for political causes, we’re going back to his previous public support for Ukraine. I have video of Ed discussing using his music and platform in connection with supporting Ukrainians, which has led critics to question why his approach to Palestine appears different.
