Cheaper breast cancer treatment added to PBS

Description
Triptorelin, a hormone suppressant used to treat breast cancer, endometriosis and uterine fibrosis, is being added to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme. The medication will provide an alternative to a hormone suppressant that was previously withdrawn from the PBS. From next month, it will cost $25 per script, making treatment more affordable for thousands of women.
