But the psalmist reminds us that God “redeems our lives from the Pit, and crowns us with steadfast love.”

Our fault, their fault, nobody’s fault—there is no one beyond God’s love. And there is no situation beyond redemption.
God forgives. God heals. God redeems.
We are never without hope—for ourselves, for each other, or for this world.
