Description
#1 New York Times bestselling author Drew Daywalt joins Zibby to discuss GOODNIGHT, CRAYONS, the hilarious new picture book in his beloved series. Drew describes how he went from a stalled Hollywood career to writing children's books. He shares the origins of THE DAY THE CRAYONS QUIT, the childhood box of crayons that changed his life, and why giving voice to the voiceless resonates so powerfully with young readers. The conversation also touches on creativity, failure, fate, literacy, and why making kids laugh—and love books—matters more than ever.
