Description
During Hour 1 of The Charlie James Show on September 15, 2026, U.S. Representative Ralph Norman discussed the growing "Write in Ralph" grassroots campaign for the upcoming South Carolina State Senate election. While Rep. Norman clarified that he intends to support the official Republican nominee, Darlene Graham, he acknowledged the frustration felt by voters following Donald Trump’s intervention in the primary. Throughout the hour, callers called into the show to voice strong, conflicting views. Some voters expressed enthusiasm for writing in Norman to protest establishment politics and Trump's endorsement, while others warned that splitting the conservative vote could inadvertently hand the Senate seat to Democratic candidate Dr. Annie Andrews.
