What If God Forgave You, But You Haven’t Let Yourself Move On?

Season 4 Episode 3 Published 6 hours ago
Description

What happens when you’ve repented, God has forgiven you, but you keep reopening the case?

In this episode of Kingdom Living with Tish, we’re talking about the difference between repentance and self-punishment. Sometimes nobody else is holding our past over our heads anymore, but we are still replaying it, disqualifying ourselves, and refusing to move forward.

Through Scripture and the life of Paul, we look at what it means to receive God’s mercy without minimizing what happened, take responsibility without making failure our identity, and remember the lesson without continuing to serve the sentence.

You can remember what happened without remaining where it happened.

This episode asks an important question: If God knows the whole truth and still offers mercy, why are we continuing to condemn ourselves?

Key Scriptures:
1 John 3:20
1 Corinthians 15:9–10
1 Timothy 1:13
Hebrews 10:22

Join the Kingdom Living Bible Study community every Wednesday from 8–9 PM Eastern. We open the Word together, ask honest questions, and talk about what Scripture looks like in real life.
