Fi: Syksy oli saapunut suureen perhekotiin, jossa Leena ja Mikko asuivat.
En: Autumn had arrived at the large family home where Leena and Mikko lived.

Fi: Ilmassa tuoksui kostea maa ja lehtien rapina kuului askelten alla kun Leena kiiruhti huoneesta toiseen.
En: The air smelled of damp earth, and the rustle of leaves was heard beneath their steps as Leena hurried from room to room.
