Knife Taped in Luggage Caught by TSA | Wilmington News
Description
A traveler tried to dodge a $100 baggage fee by taping a knife inside her carry-on at Madison’s airport — but TSA X-ray machines caught it. The passenger, headed camping, admitted she thought TSA wouldn’t spot it, but officers were stunned by how well-hidden the knife was — a first for many with decades of experience. She surrendered and was allowed to fly, but officials warn: trying to save money can cost you more. Security isn’t just about bombs — it’s about everything that shouldn’t be on a plane, and they’re incredibly good at finding it.
