Wawa Expands in Wilmington with New Store | Wilmington News
Description
Wawa just opened its third location in New Hanover County, North Carolina — a brand-new spot near the Pender County line that’s already drawing crowds and creating 35 new jobs. Tucked right beside Novant Health Scotts Hill Medical Center, this northern outpost is part of Wawa’s big expansion in the state, complete with a festive ribbon-cutting and a hoagie-building contest for local first responders. It’s not just another gas station stop — it’s a convenience hub poised to serve a fresh customer base and keep the Wilmington area buzzing.
