Description
On June 23, 2011 the Philadelphia Flyers acquired the 8th overall pick in that year’s draft, along with Jakub Voracek and a third rounder from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Jeff Carter. The following day, GM Paul Holmgren used that first round pick to select Sean Couturier.
