Episode Details

The Florida State Seminoles face a high-stakes crossroads as booster alignment, NIL funding, and administration changes threaten to reshape the team’s future. Can FSU secure an elite head coach when rivals like Ohio State and Texas outspend them by tens of millions? Brian Smith exposes the financial realities behind Florida State’s coaching search, revealing why the next leader’s success depends on a competitive NIL plan, top-dollar coordinators, and a unified vision between boosters and administration.

Key names like Manny Diaz, Tony Elliott, Rhett Lashlee, and Buster Faulkner are discussed as potential candidates, but unresolved buyouts, staff salary demands, and the urgency of recruiting top talent raise pressing questions. Will FSU prioritize proven recruiter credentials, embrace power in the trenches, and finally spend to win championships? Hear why getting the right AD in place and acting fast could decide the Seminoles’ future as a national power.
