In week five of our "HEAR" series, Pastor Jim Ellis unwraps the ultimate promise of Matthew 11:25–30: "You will find rest for your souls." Looking at the Kairos moments in our lives—pivotal times when God invites us into deep inner transformation—Jim connects Jesus' words directly back to Jeremiah 6:16. When we answer the call to come, take, and learn, we enter into a life-giving relationship that rescues us from our own striving. As Augustine famously noted, our hearts remain restless until they find rest in God. To hear from Him and experience His re-creation, we must be willing to pull into the "rest stops" along our journey and walk daily alongside Christ.

Weekly Challenge: What does your next rest stop with Jesus look like? Take time this week to pause, pull over, and ask: “God, what are You saying to me, and what am I going to do about it?”
