A Boeing 737 passenger plane in Iran experienced a burst tyre shortly after takeoff, causing violent shaking and part of the cabin ceiling to collapse before pilots safely landed the aircraft. In Guatemala, an Airbus narrowly avoided fireworks exploding in its flight path during Independence Day celebrations, aborting its first landing attempt. In Washington's Chelan Hills, fireworks launched from a moving vehicle allegedly sparked a deadly Fourth of July wildfire that killed a 69-year-old man and destroyed more than a dozen homes.
