A 27-year-old Auburn man, Sandip Adhikari, has been charged with negligent driving occasioning death after allegedly hitting his three-year-old neighbour with his Range Rover in a driveway on Normanby Road. The child's mother witnessed the incident while hanging laundry on the porch just metres away. Adhikari faced Burwood Court and has been granted bail with conditions preventing him from going within 100 metres of the house he shared with the victim's family.
