Episode Details

The Miami Heat could make another roster move before training camp, with John Konchar emerging as a potential addition. Wes Goldberg and David Ramil break down reports that Miami has spoken with Konchar’s camp about potentially competing with Myron Gardner for a roster spot — and why the Heat haven’t simply offered him a contract already.

Would Konchar accept a non-guaranteed deal similar to Nick Richards? And does Miami’s approach reveal a larger roster-building strategy: preserving maximum flexibility for the buyout market and opportunities that could emerge during the season?

Then, what does all of this say about point guard? After Miami passed on pursuing Devin Carter and with Walter Clayton Jr. potentially available, Wes and David examine whether the Heat are actually content with their current options — or still waiting for the right guard to become available.
