Hotel Clerk’s Identity Theft Conviction | Wilmington News
Description
A Wilmington hotel worker turned identity thief faces 11-13 years in prison after stealing credit card and driver’s license data from over 100 guests across two hotels — using stolen info to rack up purchases from furniture to fast food. With 57 charges, a history of prior theft convictions, and a shocking relapse just months after release, this habitual felon was sentenced as a repeat offender. Authorities found binders and phone records of victims nationwide — a chilling reminder that betraying guest trust carries severe consequences.
