THE GREEN SCENE: Squad picks for international window | Finn Azaz debate | Parrott benched but Abankwah nets in San Siro
Description
International football’s back and The Green Scene returns with a massive week ahead as Heimir Hallgrímsson gets set to name his squad.
Matthew Brennan, Ben Symes and David Wilson dig into Troy Parrott’s frustrating night as an unused sub for Real Betis, while Trent Kone-Doherty’s goals in Norway have everyone talking.
There’s also chat on Andrew Omobamidele’s Anderlecht debut, James Abankwah scoring at San Siro, and Gavin Bazunu’s big response between the sticks. Then it’s squad-pick time: keepers, defenders, midfielders and attackers, plus debates on wing-back depth, dual-nationals, and the FAI’s latest headaches off the pitch.
