Jennifer Carbonara of Des Plaines American Legion Auxiliary Unit 36 joins The Ray Stevens Show to discuss the Be the One Expo, an event dedicated to connecting veterans and the community with resources and support while raising awareness about veteran suicide. The expo is set for Sunday, Sept. 20, at 10:30 a.m. at the GENCenter in Des Plaines. Carbonara explains why reaching out, recognizing the warning signs and making sure veterans know they are not alone can make a difference. The event is being hosted by American Legion Auxiliary Unit 36.
